Following high school, many JGA Members continue playing golf in different ways where some have the opportunity to represent their college or university playing on the golf team. As we round out 2011, and make way for 2012, high school seniors in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts solidify their choice for higher education which includes further development in the game of golf.
Entry Fee: $70.00 for Junior and $85 for PGA Professional - including range balls & dinner
Format:
There are six (6) total contests for the PGA Pro-Junior.
There are three (5) 18-hole individual stroke play competitions.
1.Individual Professional
2.Junior Boys 13-15
3.Junior Boys 16-18
4.Junior Girls 13-15
5.Junior Girls 16-18
6.In addition there will be a separate team contest based off one best ball of the foursome.
Specialty Contest:
RJ Shepherd and Golf Pride will be conducting a special “hit the green” contest for all competitors on the historic 9th hole. The hole location will be located on the front tier of the green. Any competitor that hits and lands their shot on the front tier of the green will be awarded a set of grips courtesy of RJ Shepherd and Golf Pride.
