The Connecticut Section PGA conducts over 50 daily and multi-day Sponsored Tournaments for professionals and amateurs, including the Mohegan Sun PGA Pro-Am Series, individual and team championships, open tournaments, junior tournaments, special tournaments co-sponsored by the PGA of America, and Assistants' Association tournaments. This program accommodates over 3,000 participants annually.
The section also Approves an additional 20 tournaments that are Recognized or Sanctioned events that appear on the section schedule and invites PGA Professionals to participate. The section does not permit its PGA Professionals to participate in "Unapproved Tournaments" that take place within the section boundaries.
